Jean L. is an organizational consultant and management coach.  She has over 20 years of consultation and teaching experience within private and public sector organizations.  Her scholarship and consulting are dedicated to helping people fulfill their goals and give meaning to their lives.  As a social scientist, she has endeavored to master the technologies of change, development, and diversity and put these into practice to demonstrate that they work in everyday life.  For information about Jean L.’s research and scholarship, click here.




Stephanie Foy

Stephanie coordinates the research and service activities of Leading Consciously. She is active in helping individuals and organizations apply the Leading Consciously concepts in nonprofit, public and corporate settings.  She holds a BBA in Management from Texas A&M University and a Master in Social Work from the University of Houston.


Mary Harlan
President, Harlan Associates
Senior Partner, Leading Consciously

Mary founded Harlan Consulting Services, Inc in 1993 with the mission to engage people in deliberate change that supports business success and provides individual fulfillment. She is Senior Partner of Leading Consciously, LLC. Mary’s work with Diversity Action Learning Teams leverages executive vision and employee engagement to generate customized solutions and capture critical opportunities. Mary has a B.S.Ed. from Boston University and Masters in Social Work from University of Houston.



Amy Hageman
Associate, Leading Consciously

Amy is an organizational consultant who specializes in strengths-based approaches to personal and organizational change. Her passion for organizational development began when she was a student of the Leading Consciously program. She is thrilled to join us many years later as a facilitator. She has a B.A. in Anthropology from Texas A&M, and a M.S. in Positive Organizational Development from Case Western Reserve University.



Eillen Cuartero
Research Associate

Eillen coordinates the research activities including implementing the Leading Consciously Assessment Tools, securing author and reference approval, developing online tools, and researching relevant articles.  She holds a BS in Management Information Systems and has worked with Jean Latting since 1998 in a variety of roles.



Larry Hill

Larry Hill conducts statistical analyses of the Leading Consciously Assessment Tools and other research related to leading consciously.  He is an adjunct faculty member and doctoral candidate in the Graduate College of Social Work, University of Houston.  His eight years of program evaluation, action research and macro-practice experience have been focused on issues related to community development, program effectiveness, and social justice.
