Hello! I’m Dr. Jean Latting. I am the founder of Leading Consciously, a leadership development firm that specializes in offering online inclusion and coaching programs for organizations, non-profits, and more.
I wanted to share a story from a dental office during a traditional cavity fill. As a holistic dental provider, they are proud of their team approach and safe materials. The small practice is multicultural – the owner is Indian American, the dentist who filled my tooth is American born and of Asian descent. The woman who assisted him is Black. The dentist who worked on me for the previous visit is also Black and works there part-time to keep his skills active. The care and attention to detail they poured into me was a model of exemplary quality service.
I was reminded that a truly inclusive culture is palpable and can spill over into a sense of being taken care of. It felt good to be surrounded by the feeling of wellness and community they generated.
At Leading Consciously, we help you foster an inclusive culture by offering a variety of programs and services to help people move past assumptions, discuss racial issues respectfully, and achieve next-level fulfillment.
We want to hear from you. Tell us about a multicultural setting that you have visited in which you sensed genuine cooperation and mutual support. What stood out for you?
In The News:
Our CEO Jean Latting was interviewed for Go Solo to discuss the agility, resilience, and connections built by her team at Leading Consciously. One of the top tips she provided to anyone looking to start a business was:
“Condition yourself to the idea of giving more than you get. I’m a big believer in what goes around comes around, and I’ve often been delighted at how the universe gives back to people who live their lives as beacons of goodness.”
